The Nagpada Police Hospital on Monday submitted a medical report confirming two specific bruises on the private parts of a six-year-old boy whose parents have alleged that he was sexually abused by two men. Police had earlier arrested the school bus attendant,Farah Khan (18),who allegedly handed him over to the men on the way from a creche to a school in Kurla.
This is the second report after Rajawadi Hospital last week confirmed injuries on the boys private parts. Police are now waiting for a final report from Nair Hospital.
According to the FIR,Khan was hired to ferry students of an international school located in Kurla. The parents alleged that two men were suspected to have been in contact with Khan. The police are confounded as the two names match the names of the boys classmates.
Khan denied the allegations. She claimed the boy was in school on the occasions she was accused of handing him over to the men.
Meanwhile, the school claimed that there were several discrepancies in the parents statements. The school principal said,We had called them for counselling but they did not turn up. We feel sorry for the boy,but school and bus employees are not involved in this. If something has happened, then it may have happened outside the school.
The principal said school officials were co-operating with the police and have provided CCTV footage. The boy is in the school for only three hours, and for the rest of the time,he is in the creche. One needs to establish how and where the injuries were inflicted, said the principal.
We cannot still be sure if the boy was a victim of sexual abuse. Police doctors confirm that the boy has bruises in his anus, said Dhananjay Kulkarni,DCP (Zone 5).
As the boy is disturbed by the episode, police have also sought the services of a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist is yet to submit his report, said Kulkarni.
