With the festive season here,Design One the annual design expo by the Sahachari Foundation is back. An initiative that is dedicated to the betterment of the less fortunate in areas of education as also the socio-economic development of women,the event raises funds for several NGOs. Scheduled to take place at the World Trade Centre on September 26 and 27,this exhibition will showcase festive lines by Mumbai-based designers Masaba Gupta,Surily Goel,Mayank Anand and Shraddha Nigam,and Laila Motwane,among many others. Other big names at the extravaganza include Shivan & Narresh,Aneeth Arora,Atsu Sekhose and Pankaj & Nidhi.
The enfant terrible of Indian fashion,Rohit Bal,wears many hats of a fashion designer,restaurateur and a jewellery designer. His first jewellery line for a brand dates back to 2008. Bal is now designing a special neckpiece as part of the Forevermark Promise exhibition. Inspired by the belief that all promises should be as unbreakable,the collection features creations by select international designers. There are 13 pieces in all,with designers such as Canada-based Reena Ahluwalia,US-based Rachel Roy and UK-based jewellers Stephen Webster and Shaun Leane,also part of the project.

Untitled as of now,it is a parody of Salt N Pepa and En Vogues video Whatta Man. Sherawat has always been a fan of Bruno Mars and his Grammy Award-winning single,Just The Way You Are,is among her all-time favourite numbers. When the actor was offered the video,she made sure she grabbed it with both hands.
