Director-producer Rajkumar Santoshi lodged a complaint against producer Firoz Nadiadwala at Juhu Police Station at 10 pm Thursday. He claimed death threats from Nadiadwala over phone.
Juhu police officers said Santoshi gave a statement that Nadiadwala was threatening him for money for a few months.
However, alleged death threats issued Thursday made him lodge a police complaint.
Arun Bhagat, senior inspector, said,According to the complaint,Firoz barged into Santoshis house in Krishna building at Juhu Thursday. He allegedly abused domestic help Waseem,as Santoshi was not home. He then allegedly threatened Santoshi on phone. There is some financial dispute between the two.
Santoshi claimed Nadiadwala first came to his house threatening to kill him.
Finding Santoshi away,he allegedly called on his mobile phone and issued death threats.
Juhu police have registered a case under sections 452 (house trespass),504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace),506(2) (criminal intimidation) and 507 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication).
