Court extends Sanjay Raut’s judicial custody till September 5

The MP was produced before the special court on Monday from Arthur Road jail where he is lodged. The special court extended his custody by two weeks. Raut is yet to file bail in the case.

SHIV SENA MP Sanjay Raut was on Monday sent to further judicial custody till September 5 by a special court.

Raut was arrested on August 1 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with alleged money-laundering linked to the redevelopment of a chawl project in a northern suburb of Mumbai.

The MP was produced before the special court on Monday from Arthur Road jail where he is lodged. The special court extended his custody by two weeks. Raut is yet to file bail in the case.
