Watch: Couple in Audi car booked for ‘assaulting’ Ola cab driver in Ghatkopar
Qureshi alleged that Rishabh Chakravorty started manhandling him while his wife, who was in the car, removed the Ola navigation device from the cab and they fled from the spot in the Audi car.

A couple was booked for allegedly assaulting a Ola cab driver in Ghatkopar after their Audi car dashed the cab, police said Friday.
An FIR in the matter was registered by Parksite police against Rishabh Chakraborty, a media professional, and his wife on August 28 based on a complaint filed by the cab driver, Kamyuddin Qureshi (24). No arrests have been made in the case as yet.
A purported video of the incident has surfaced on social media.
As per the statement given by Qureshi, a Govandi resident, on August 18, he was going from Saki Naka to Navi Mumbai with a customer around 11.30 pm when he got into an argument with the driver of an Audi car after he brushed past his cab.
Qureshi alleged that Rishabh Chakravorty started manhandling him while his wife, who was in the car, removed the Ola navigation device from the cab and they fled from the spot in the Audi car.
Qureshi said that he followed the car which reached a housing society near R City Mall in Ghatkopar.

As per the CCTV footage from the society, the cab is seen bumping into the Audi car from the back. According to the complainant, Chakravorty then got out of the car and assaulted him.
Qureshi said that one of the security guards at the building gave him the device back following which he was admitted to the JJ hospital for the injuries he sustained on his head. Nearly 10 days later, the Parksite police in Vikhroli registered an FIR based on Qureshi’s statement

An officer said that so far no arrests have been made in the case and they have given a notice to the accused to appear before the investigating officer.
