Reforms panel meets to decide agenda

The new committee formed to help the higher education department implement reforms recommended by three other committees — chaired by Anil Kakodkar,Arun Nigavekar and Ram Takwale — met last week to chalk out their agenda.

The new committee formed to help the higher education department implement reforms recommended by three other committees — chaired by Anil Kakodkar,Arun Nigavekar and Ram Takwale — met last week to chalk out their agenda. Its members have decided to submit a report to the state government with the final recommendations in two-three months. The members are now studying the Kakodkar committee report and will meet by February-end to cull out the key suggestions from the report.
