The Bombay High Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition filed by film director Ramesh Sippy against his brother Suresh, which was part of a dispute involving a flat at Altamount Road. Sippy had appealed against an interim order of a single judge that had refused to appoint a court receiver for the flat. Ramesh had also demanded that his brother be directed to pay him interim compensation,a plea which was also rejected. A Division Bench headed by Chief Justice Mohit Shah said the court was not inclined to grant relief at this stage.
