Mumbai Police have announced a reward to find a mole in the organisation.

Mumbai Police have announced a reward to find a mole in the organisation.

Senior officers promised reward to anyone who helps them find source of the leak of an internal circular to the Press.

A fortnight ago,the special branch (intelligence wing of Mumbai Police) sent the circular to all additional commissioners in the city.

The circular asked Mumbai Police to keep a watch on the women wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

The circular was leaked to the media,leading to protests.

Mumbai Police said the circular was for internal use only. Officials also said they had not found anything objectionable about the organisation.

“We have announced a reward to anyone who will inform us who leaked the circular,” a senior police official said.

This is the first time police have announced such a reward.
