Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar in Mumbai on May 11.

According to sources, Kumar held telephonic conversation with Thackeray and Pawar on Saturday. The meeting is to invite both to Patna where he is to hold a grand opposition rally after the Karnataka Assembly elections. Last week, Bihar assembly speaker Devenshchandra Thakur held a meeting with Thackeray along with MLC Kapil Patil.

Kumar is also meeting various opposition leaders of regional and national parties across the country in a bid to formulate a united front against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the 2024 elections. So far, he has met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former party president Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejariwal and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
