HOURS after being found entangled in her bedsheet that had caught fire inside her Mulund home, a 45-year-old woman succumbed to burn injuries on Wednesday. According to police, Lalita Krishna Bombe was found engulfed in flames by her two sisters in their apartment.

The incident took place around 4 am on Wednesday inside the bedroom where Lalita was sleeping alone with door unlocked. She was rushed to Sion hospital with more than 90% burns. Around 2 pm, Lalita succumbed to her injuries.
