Mumbai residents can now bid farewell to their pets at this mobile electric crematorium
Former Shiv Sena corporator Abhishekh Ghosalkar is backing the initiative by Happy Buds Foundation.

The van, with an electric crematorium, has been deployed in R/North ward, which covers Dahisar and parts of Borivali in the western suburbs. The van has been acquired through NGO Happy Buds Foundation. Set up inside a van, the pyre operates through electricity, helping people to cremate their pets in an eco-friendly way.

Former Shiv Sena corporator Tejasvee Abhishek Ghosalkar, who backed the initiative, said while pet animals will be cremated for a nominal charge, stray animals will be cremated free of cost.
