Data furnished by the BMC showed that the water stock in the seven lakes which supply water to the city touched 96.8 per cent of their total capacity Monday morning. (Express Photo) Mumbai is set to experience light to moderate rain throughout Monday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Sushma Nair, scientist at IMD Mumbai, told The Indian Express, “We are expecting formation of a low-pressure area between September 14-15, this may result in good rainfall after September 16. The next three-four days are going to be crucial and we will get a clear picture by the middle of this week.”
After heavy rainfall returned in the last week, the intensity of showers has once again taken a beating.
