The structures are among 27 others identified by the BMC and are being restored and maintained by various organisations.
The restoration work of four heritage structures in South Mumbai is to be completed soon and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is likely to re-open them for the public by the end of this month.
The structures include the Wellington Fountain, the sculpture of the black horse at Kala Ghoda, Wadia Clock Tower and the fountain at the Horniman Circle.
Civic officials said that the sculpture of the black horse is being made by a craftsman in Goregaon and is expected to be completed in another 8-10 days. The sculpture will be installed at the parking lot between the Rhythm House building and the Jehangir Art Gallery in Fort.
While three of the structures, including the Wadia clock tower, are being restored by the Kala Ghoda Association, the restoration of the Wellington fountain was taken up by Mahindra and Mahindra.
The structures are among 27 others identified by the BMC and are being restored and maintained by various organisations.
