Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Rally: Over 95 vintage cars strut their stuff

The 11th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Rally (MBCCR) concluded in Mumbai with the showcasing of over 95 vintage Mercedes-Benz cars, further solidifying its status as India’s premier event for classic car enthusiasts. Held at Taj Lands End in Bandra, the rally attracted a huge number of spectators offering an opportunity to witness its rich legacy and craftsmanship.

The rally was flagged off by Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, with Ashish Shelar, MLA, Lance Bennett, VP Sales & Marketing at Mercedes-Benz, and Emmanuel Bacquet, Curator of Germany’s Mercedes-Benz Museum.

One of the major attractions of the rally was the Supercharged Class, which featured legendary Kompressor models from the 1920s and 1930s, marking the dawn of the supercharger era. Another standout segment was the Superlimousine Class, which offered a glimpse into Mercedes-Benz’s history of luxury. The Mile Munchers Class celebrated classic car owners who drove long distances for the event, including from Goa, Lucknow, and Rajkot.
