Man involved in ‘plot’ to target Salman Khan near Panvel farmhouse arrested from Haryana
Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been on radar of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who is believed to be involved in Panvel recce and Bandra residence firing cases.
Salman Khan has been on the radar of gangster Bishnoi who is believed to be involved in both cases in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
The Navi Mumbai police on Thursday arrested a person from Haryana for allegedly conducting a recce along with others at actor Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel in February.
The accused has been identified as Sukha, the police said.

The police in June arrested four people, allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, after it was found that there was a conspiracy to attack the actor at his Panvel farmhouse in Navi Mumbai. The police had found that 16-17 people were involved in the Panvel recce operation.
This was believed to be the second plot to attack actor Salman Khan with the first being the firing outside his Bandra residence in Mumbai on April 14.
Salman Khan has been on the radar of gangster Bishnoi who is believed to be involved in both cases in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

The actor received threats after he shot a blackbuck during the shooting of a movie in Rajasthan in 1998. The Mumbai Police believe that this is a bid by Bishnoi to gain a foothold in Mumbai and begin extortion in the city.
The police said that Bishnoi has several independent groups working at different locations and they suspect one gang was conducting recce in Panvel while the other was in Mumbai.
Those arrested by the Navi Mumbai Police in Panvel recce case were identified as Dhananjay Tapesingh alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Vapsi Khan alias Waseem Chikna and Rizwan Khan.
