12-year-old girl records video of 65-year-old neighbour sexually harassing her, gets him arrested
The Mumbai police said the girl was standing in the common passage area of her building when the accused made obscene gestures at her.

(Source: File) A 12-year-old girl from Currey Road area in central Mumbai got her 65-year-old neighbour arrested, who was allegedly sexually harassing her by making obscene gestures at her, police said. The girl recorded a video of the elderly man and showed it to her mother and the police, leading to his arrest.
The police arrested the accused, a retired post office employee who lives in the girl’s neighbourhood, on Tuesday.
As per the FIR, in May, one day the girl was standing in the common passage of the building on the second floor when the accused, also present there, made obscene gestures at her. Besides, another day when the girl attending tuition classes at her neighbour’s place, the accused came there and touched her inappropriately, the FIR stated.
