Shinde said the Opposition’s claim as well as the BJP’s “400-paar” slogan created misconceptions in people’s minds.
“We suffered losses in some places during the polls, because of the false narrative that was set… We suffered losses in Maharashtra. They set a false narrative that the constitution would be changed and reservation would be removed etc. But in fact, nothing of this sort was going to happen. The ‘400-paar’ slogan created misconceptions and raised apprehensions in the minds of people that in future it will create issues,” Shinde said at a meeting of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) in Mumbai’s Sahyadri Guest house on Tuesday.
