“Chronic pain is no longer limited to the elderly or those with severe illnesses. It’s increasingly affecting younger people due to sedentary lifestyles, poor posture, and repetitive strain injuries,” said Dr Amala Kudalkar, Head of the Department of Anaesthesia.
“Our Pain OT provides timely, effective treatment, breaking the cycle of pain that can limit mobility, disrupt social interactions, and diminish overall well-being. By addressing pain and preventing recurrence, we empower individuals to reclaim their lives.”
Chronic pain, defined as pain lasting for over three months or recurring intermittently, can result from degenerative diseases, nerve entrapments, or musculoskeletal issues.
