A fire broke out in a 58-story residential building in South Mumbai’s Byculla Friday morning. According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the blaze started at around 11 am, and a firefighting operation is underway.
Officials said no injury has been reported so far in the fire that erupted on the 42nd floor of the Salsette Building.
“The occupants of the building have been moved out, and the electricity line has been disconnected. The inside of the building is covered with thick smoke,” said a fire brigade official.
