The CBI on Thursday told the Bombay High Court that it will complete investigations and file a chargesheet in the alleged fake bail bond case involving Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel in six weeks. The High Court had handed over the case to the CBI in August last year.

The petition before the High Court has been filed by activist Samir Zaveri.

According to him,a group of Railway protection (RPF) personnel had set up fake magistrate courts and collected fines from commuters who were caught violating rules.

The personnel are said to have issued fake bail bonds to the commuters at Kurla station in 2008.

The RPF had suspended 21 personnel and dismissed four persons from service on account of allegations of their involvement in the case.
