It was 100 years on November 25 since the day Albert Einstein presented his paper on the General Theory of Relativity to the Prussian Academy of Sciences, which overturned Isaac Newton’s laws.
Commemorating the iconic event, Spenta Wadia, founding director of the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Bangalore, discussed the major developments in the evolution of the theory of gravitation at a talk at Ruia College Monday.
