Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration. Accordingly,a genius is often a talented person who has done all his homework. Thomas Edison
Work, every work,is a great panacea. Hard work is key to success. Parents, teachers as well as others advise a child to work hard for good scores. Though a little, but luck, too, plays a positive role. I believe that hard work is key to success.
The prize for hard work is success. A person can excel in his career because of hard work. We have heard the story of a king who almost lost a battle and fled the battlefield to a cave, where he saw a spider weaving its web. Every time the web was destroyed, the spider built it again. At last, its web was ready. This inspired the king, who returned to the battlefield and won. This shows how hard work pays. Hard work is a pleasure, idleness is luxury that none can afford.

The question that needs to be asked is whats not good about hard work. Answer: nothing. Genius is ninety-nine percent perspiration and one percent inspiration, thats Edisons perspective of success stories. That is etched in the hearts of those who know how good an employer hard work is when it comes to wages. For a student,it is the most essential quality that drives his cart. From the confidence it gives at an exam hall to the beads of sweat that appear after vigorous football practice, the impact of hard work can turn even a person of low intelligence and strength into a knowledgeable and powerful individual. What hard work can do is nothing short of a miracle. The example of a tailor bird, working tirelessly to build its beautiful nest is the epitome of hard work. Picking up every small twig and then building a nest, placing each twig in its right position with patience it portrays something many people lack today.

Hard work is the key to success. Nothing can be achieved without hard work. Edison worked for 21 hours a day. He slept only for two or three hours on the laboratory tables with books as his pillow.
Our Prime Minister, late Pt Nehru, worked for 17 hours a day and 7 days a week. There were no holidays in his calendar. Mahatma Gandhi worked ceaselessly day and night and won freedom for his country. Hard work is the price that we pay for success and all the gifts of life.
In the words of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:
The heights by great men reached and kept,
Were not attained by sudden flight,But they, while their companions slept,Were toiling upward in the night.
Hard work is a great quality. All work is noble. Work is worship.
We can progress through hard work. Countries whose citizens are hard-working make great progress.
An idle person depends too much on chance. He thinks that a miracle will happen and he will become rich and prosperous. This is not possible without hard work.
All great men were hard-working. Seventy years ago,Japan was a backward country. Today,it is one of the most prosperous nations. This prosperity has been possible with hard work. We should all, therefore, work hard to achieve success.

I believe that it is hard work that leads humans to success. Many excellent examples have been set by our ancestors and the current generation. Someone rightly said,All wars have been won the hard way. All inventions have happened because of hard work. This is the reason why Edison was successful. Though the kind of hard work put in by people like Edison is rare nowadays, one should at least concentrate on his work for two to three hours a day.

Hard work is the only path to success. It is always the base for great achievements. All successful entrepreneurs have reached their goal through hard work. People think that success comes with long hours but I feel it comes with hard and smart work. My parents have instilled in me that hard work is a good work ethic. Hard work always pays,if not immediately. It builds us into strong individuals.
Hard work prepares us to face adversity. It helps an average student to become extraordinary and excel in life. It helps to transform destinies. If you have a goal and you want to achieve it for the love of it but not because it has to be done,no amount of hard work will tire you.
Hence,I would like to conclude that there is no substitute to hardwork.

1 per cent inspiration,99 per cent perspiration: Edisons definition of genius has often been quoted to define success. Achieving success is almost like finding God,the destination is the same but the roads are as varied as the seeker. All we need to do is choose our path.
But what is success?
Success may be defined as the realisation of an aim. Hard work helps us to develop our potential to the maximum and achieve excellence in any field. It prepares us to face adverse situations. Hard work helps an athlete to persevere in a race. It helps an average student to become extraordinary. It helps transform destinies.
We must focus our energies on our goal. Man wishes for many things in life. Some of them may be bestowed upon him by fortune, but to have the others,he will have to work hard.
One must live a life that inspires others. A man of action will control be able to control his circumstances. Americas President Abraham Lincoln was born in a log cabin, yet by dint of hard work,he rose to be the greatest man of his time.
To sum up,greatness and success lie in hard, honest and selfless work.

We all know that hard workers are achievers. Talkers are never good doers, but men of action are men of few words. Hard working men achieve success in life.
A person can excel in his career due to hard work. A person, who tries his hands on everything, loses his hold on all. Hard work lies in your talent when you pursue it with your heart.
Hard work is the single greatest competitive advantage. A young individual can seek a particular acme. Whether your luck prevails or not,it is the trait of a hard worker that will bring you closer to it,regardless of where you are.

Hard Work is the key to success: This is a well-known fact. Parents and teachers guide a child to work hard so that he/she can score well.
We face various situations in life, ranging from simple to complex. How we handle them matters a great deal. Making a decision and taking risks that come along need courage. Today,we see that technology has improved to an extent that a person can have lunch in Mumbai and dinner in Delhi the same day. Thanks to the hard work of Wright brothers.
Today,we have electrical and inductions cookers. That also is the result of someones hard work. We,the children of India, should unite and work hard to rid our country of corruption.

Hard work is the key to success is a well-known adage. Malcolm Gladwell said that true mastery of anything requires 10,000 hours of doing it. Hard work is always at the base of great achievements. It is important to excel in ones career. The problem with human nature is that we want everything easy. If you want to be the best, then you are going to have to do more than others do. An ordinary person can stay ordinary, but those who work hard will become extraordinary. Hard work will help you achieve your greatest dreams. A farmer works hard for his crops. His hard work pays off when he reaps a good harvest. With hard work, you can become a stronger person.

It is a well know adage, though a little bit of luck plays a positive role
I believe that hard work is the key to success. If luck was all that mattered,no one would ever work. A person can excel in his career due to hard work. If he sits at home,no one would offer him a job. Also if you are working in a company, you will be promoted only because of hard work.
I think those who deny that hard work was part of their success have either chosen not to share this or forgetten the drive that started it all.
The importance of hard work is can never be denied. Rather than fight it,lets roll up our sleeves and run with it.
