Dharavi Redevelopment Project: Door-to-door survey to end on August 12
Officials said residents can still be enlisted in the survey list if they call the Dharavi Redevelopment Project helpline and submit supporting documents in-person before the authorities.
The officials stated that they would treat households outside of August 12 coverage as those who opted out of the government program, except if they apply subsequently. (File photo) Officials associated with the Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP) Friday informed that the door-to-door household survey being carried out under the Project will end on August 12.
The survey, which began in March 2024, is intended to ascertain the eligibility of residents for resettlement under the government-supported redevelopment scheme.

Though survey teams will no longer make house visits after August 12, officials said residents can still be enlisted in the survey list if they call the DRP helpline and submit supporting documents in-person before the authorities.
“We would assure that we keep receiving such submissions from these residents and enter them into the official record after checks,” a DRP official said.
