Back to drawing
ACCORDING to Bina Aziz, organiser of the show Just Drawings, the art of drawing is just as visually appealing as a painting. Similar tools are used to perform different tasks. Drawing is mainly concerned with making of lines and helps in sharpening the focus of artists. It is the simplest form of art on paper-direct,spontaneous and immediate and pure. At one time,it was the foundation that no career in painting or sculpture could be securely built without. The artists featured in this show are Lalitha Lajmi,Ajay De,Bhuva Shete,Gurcharan Singh,Jenny Bhatt and Sanjay Kumar.
