Devendra Kothari,an alleged bookie wanted in the IPL betting scam,was picked up by Mumbai Police Crime Branch in Jaipur late Wednesday night.
Sources said the Crime Branch property cell received a tip-off Tuesday and sent a team to Jaipur. They said Kothari would be produced in court Thursday morning.
Kothari,who was allegedly in contact with bookies from Pakistan and Dubai through Ramesh Vyas,is the 19th arrest in the case. Vyas was the first.
Meanwhile,bookies Sanjay and Pawan Jaipur are expected to appear before Mumbai Police Crime Branch Thursday. Their anticipatory bail application was recently rejected by the Bombay sessions court,after which they moved Bombay High Court (HC).
