The Cyber Crime cell has handed over the ‘objectionable’ video clip, allegedly showing actor Mona Singh unclothed,to the forensic laboratory to find out the IP address of the computer through which it was circulated and whether the video was morphed as claimed by Singh.

Police said the video, posted online, seems to be a clip shot from a laptop. “The IP address of a computer can be obtained. If the clip has been uploaded from a mobile phone it could be difficult to track the source,” said an officer.

Himanshu Roy,JCP (crime),said,“We are investigating the source of the video.”.

Singh had recently approached the cyber crime police station in Bandra (East) to investigate an MMS allegedly showing her in the nude.
