Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday issued 48 hours ultimatum to the Maharashtra police to identify and arrest the individuals who attacked Church at Navi Mumbai last week.
The CCTV has captured the images of three people who hurled stones on church. The three persons came on a motorbike. They got down and picked stoned and hurled them and went away. Fadnavis said, “ The CCTV footage has images which will be helpful in establishing the identity of the culprits. I have asked police to ensure attackers are nabbed within 48 hours.”
Earlier, National Christian Council delegation met chief minister at Vidhan Bhawan to express concerns over the attack on Navi Mumbai church. Fadnavis assured delegation that government was committed to welfare of all communities including Christians. And attack on religious places will be dealt firmly and culprits punished.
