They beat Western Railway 2-0 for the top prize of Rs 10,000 for the Champions Trophy and outplayed ESIC by an identical margin to pocket Rs 8000 for the Challengers Trophy.

Dias strikes for Central Bank
Central Bank of India carved out a narrow 1-0 win against F United in a evenly matched Super Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league,played at the St. Xaviers ground,Parel on Monday. Ashley Dias netted the all-important goal for the winners in the 43rd minute.
The match witnessed plenty of action in front of goal at either end,but it was Central Bank,who managed to find success. They then did well to hang on to their solitary goal lead to troop out victors.
Later in the day,Income Tax put up a solid fighting display to overcome ICL 2-1 in another match of the same division,Melwyn Lobo and Ian Dias scored for Income Tax,while Taresh Sayyed was on target for ICL.
