Rajesh Javalkar,business partner and friend of missing Bandra girl Emaan Shah’s father,met the principal of Sathaye College Wednesday to verify her academic record

Rajesh Javalkar,business partner and friend of missing Bandra girl Emaan Shah’s father,met the principal of Sathaye College Wednesday to verify her academic record. Javalkar and Shah head Sporting and Outdoor Solution that manages in-stadia and outdoor advertising. “I checked records,she has not passed grade XI,” said Javalkar,who has been in constant touch with Shah and his family in London. Kavita Rege,prinicipal of Sathaye College,Vile Parle,said,“She never attended college post her first-term exam. From the conversation we had with Javalkar it seemed the girl’s family was not aware she did not appear from class-XII exam from our college.”

Highway collision: Trailer driver held

A day after an LPG tanker exploded on Mumbai-Nashik highway following a collision with a trailer,Kasara police registered cases Wednesday against drivers of both vehicles and arrested trailer driver Parshuram Bawne (21). Tanker driver Virendra Singh Thakur died in the mishap. After the collision Tuesday morning,the tanker began to leak gas.
