NCP leader Ajit Pawar expressed surprise at the ‘harsh decision’ taken by the government to suspend Awhad from attending the winter session in Nagpur.
Pawar said, “I was ready to apologise on his behalf for the uncharitable remark. But that does not mean he should be suspended. We will not cooperate with the government. We will boycott the remaining period of the winter session.”
