2 held in Nashik for posts on Aurangzeb
According to the police, in the first incident, a post by one Shoaib Maniyar allegedly triggered tension in the district’s Ghoti region on Friday.

According to the police, in the first incident, a post by one Shoaib Maniyar allegedly triggered tension in the district’s Ghoti region on Friday. Local residents gathered outside a police station and sought action against Maniyar over the Facebook post which they said hurt their religious sentiments, the police said.
A case was subsequently filed against Maniyar and he was taken into custody.
In the second incident, Salim Kazi, 20, was arrested from the district’s Sinnar for putting up a 25-second video about Aurangzeb as his status message. Local Bajrang Dal leaders subsequently complained about it, which led to Kazi’s arrest.
