The Ludhiana police on Monday arrested two persons — Pawan Kumar of Salem Tabri and Sohan Singh — for taking LPG out of the domestic cylinders and filling it in small cylinders to make quick money.
Harbans Singh, from anti-narcotics cell who made the arrests, said that they raided the utensil shop of Pawan and found more than 50 domestic cylinders stocked in his shop. Besides, all the equipment used to take LPG out of the cylinders was also found. The duo used to take 1-2 kg LPG out of each cylinder and would fill it in small cylinders weighing 4 kg each.
Harbans said they were investigating the case and would be finding more people involved in this case.
