Rs 13 lakh looted from commission agent at gunpoint

Robbers looted Rs 13 lakh at gunpoint near Phullanwal village on Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened when commission agent Rakesh Kumar was going to his Jodhan village after withdrawing Rs 13 lakh from Axis bank branch of Phullanwal. Kumar was accompanied by his son. Soon after he started driving his car,he was followed by a Bolero. Four robbers sitting in the Bolero hit the car. Following this,the commission agent along with his son came out. The robbers took out their revolver and asked the duo to leave the bag with them.

Kumar said that they left the bag and went away,and four persons in the age group of 25-35 years were sitting in the Bolero.

SHO Amandeep Singh Brar said an FIR had been registered.
