After shifting base from Malerkotla to Ludhiana, now relatives of Vidhu Jain have decided to knock the doors of Punjab and Haryana High Court
to seek justice. They have also formed a seven-member committee comprising advocates Brejeshwar Singh Jaswal and Asha Kumari Jaswal, who will
be taking up the legal matters related to high court plea, said Prem Jain and Vinod Jain, uncles of Vidhu Jain.
Amit Jain, cousin of Vidhu Jain said, “Though the case was handed over to CBI in January this year, no official has approached us
till date, which means that the state government never took it seriously and never followed it up with the investigation agency.”
Vidhu Jain’s relatives accused the state government of acting soft on the culprits for their votebank politics. Amit said, “We want CBI inquiry
under the supervision of a retired High Court judge.”
