Police is yet to solve the murder of 24-year-old Gurinderjit Kaur,a dentist who was found murdered in her house on Thursday. The body sustained burn injuries. Gurinderjits mother Harjinder alleged that her daughter-in-law Tejinder Kaur committed the crime,but police is yet to find evidence against her.
The family lived in Krishna Nagar street near Ghumar Mandi area and Harjinder was a school teacher. She had planned to leave for Canada on August 27 from Amritsar,however,she was found murdered few days before.
Harjinder told police that when she came back from school,she found her daughter lying dead on the floor. Apart from burn injuries,she even had strangulation marks and had bled from nose.
Her son Bhupinderjit Singh stayed on the first floor of the house along with his wife as he was not keeping good relations with his family. As per Harjinders statement,Tejinder used to fight often with the family and last year her husband also expired.
SHO Ranjit Singh said,We have not arrested anyone as of now because we are yet to find clues against anyone,though allegations are against Tejinder Kaur.
He added,Tajinder and Bhupinderjit Singh are absconding after the crime. We will soon arrest the culprit.
