Another trouble has knocked the doors of the MC headqurters after the slap incident. A lady employee has alleged misbehavior by a senior MC employee and a probe has been ordered by additional commissioner Isha Kalia.

Reportedly,a woman employee on contractual basis as a typist in accounts branch three days back complained of misbehavior by S K Gupta,deputy controller (finance and account).

She alleged that Gupta asked her to stay back after her duty hours and even pressurised her to come to work on holidays. She further alleged that when her retaliated,she was fired from the job. On the other hand,Gupta is his explanation to higher officials said that the woman is blackmailing her.

“She was kept as a typist of English and Punjabi but she was not able to type a single letter. She was not good with her work so I recommended the seniors to replace her,” Gupta said. However,when contacted both victim and Gupta had their phones switched off.

Kalia said,“I got the complaint three days back and a committee headed by me has been formed. We will be submitting a report in 7 days and then action will be taken. The woman has been reinstated to the job.”
