Man,2 granddaughters killed as overspeeding truck collides with car

Three other family members are critical and admitted to DMCH,Ludhiana.

A Man and his two granddaughters died in a road accident near Chakk Sarwan Nath village on Chandigarh road on Tuesday morning after an overspeeding truck hit their car.

The Koom Kalan Police registered a case for reckless driving and causing death and injuries due to negligence against unidentified driver of the truck who fled.

The deceased have been identified as Balbir Singh (53),his granddaughters Simranpreet Kaur (10) and Armanbir Kaur (2 months).

Three other family members — Baljinder Kaur (50),Harpal Kaur (35) and Sukhman Singh (5) — are critical and admitted to DMCH,Ludhiana.
