Ludhiana: Three students hurt in school clash

The injured were identified as Rishabh Sharma , Ansh and Sharu - all students of class nine. The school management has filed a complaint at police post Jagatpuri.

Class IX students of Jamuna Model School, Durgapuri, in Haibowal area got embroiled in a violent clash over a petty issue with some outsiders Saturday. The accused allegedly barged in the school and assaulted the victims with iron rods and sharp weapons. The injured were identified as Rishabh Sharma , Ansh and Sharu – all students of class nine. The school management has filed a complaint at police post Jagatpuri.

ASI Harjit Singh, incharge at police post Jagatpuri stated that around noon- the three students came out of the school after appearing for an exam. Meanwhile, some outsiders came and entered into a heated argument with them. The accused even called their accomplices on the spot.  Rishabh, Ansh and Sharu rushed inside the school gate, but two accused came in chasing them. The accused assaulted them with iron rods and sharp weapons and fled.
