Mahie Gill,the actress who debuted in 2008 with her much-applauded role of modern Paro in Dev D,feels she is the luckiest actor in Bollywood.
I feel I am the luckiest actor in Bollywood because I have worked with top class co-stars like Irrfan Khan,Abhay Deol,Jimmy Shergill,Salman Khan and others. The experience has been mind-blowing, says Gill,who was in the city recently.
Gill is known for her roles in cult films like Dev D,Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster,Paan Singh Tomar,and Dabangg and even the sequels like Dabangg 2 and Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns.
Talking about her next films,she said that Gang of Ghosts was all set for release in which she would be seen with Anupam Kher,Saurabh Shukla and Sharman Joshi. It is a horror comedy directed by Satish Kaushik, she said. She is also appearing in her first item number in Bullet Raja with Saif Ali Khan,which is too set for release.

Gill,an alumna of the theatre department of Panjab University,Chandigarh,said,I was born in Chandigarh and it is my hometown. I feel proud of PU which has been recently ranked in international listing.
Commenting on Punjabi cinema,Gill,who has also worked in Punjabi film Carry on Jatta,said,I am always ready to work in Punjabi cinema but the wait is on for good scripts. I will do nothing less than the level of Carry on Jatta.
A lot of genres in Punjabi cinema are yet to be explored like horror,thriller and musicals. Had I been a director,I would have started a transition in Punjabi cinema. Punjabi cinema is developing but still a lot needs to be done, she said.
On Ludhiana,she said,I am getting real carnival feel here. Ludhiana is a city of riches and lavish lifestyles.
Gill said that working with Kamal Hassan was a dream not yet fulfilled. I feel he is the best in the country, she added.
