Punjab State Minority Commission member Albert Dua and President of Christian United Federation on Tuesday said that BJP took no stand for minorities because of which the pary lost in the capital.
Dua who though is part of the alliance government, however, said that he will stand by his community and can even leave this post even if the government asks him to do so.
Dua said that Christians were being defamed in the name of Ghar Wapsi and Muslims in the name of Love Jihaad.
“This was the reason that the lotus was cleaned by the broom in the national captial. It is high time that the BJP should think about minorities or they will be swept away even in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha,” he added.
