Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann said he is ready to act as a bridge to sort out differences between suspended AAP MPs Dharamvir Gandhi and Harinder Singh Khalsa in Barnala on Wednesday.
“I will meet both of them during the Budget Session of the Parliament. If they want, I will try to arrange a meeting for them with party convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Differences do happen in a family, but one can always sort them out after having a discussion. I will try my best to sort out these differences.”
On the AAP’s advertisements controversy, the chairman of the campaign committee of the party in Punjab said the party has all the rights to tell people in Punjab and Delhi about their achievements.
“Ahead of the Assemble elections in 2017 in Punjab, we want to show our good governance to the people of Punjab,” he said.
Attacking state Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh, Mann said the Congress is free to calculate the advertisement expenses. “Capt Amarinder is free to calculate the budget of the AAP advertisements regarding the party’s achievements of one year. In Delhi, Punjab is the second language and therefore the advertisements were given in all the vernacular papers of Punjab that are circulated in Delhi,” Mann said.
Mann said the Delhi CM will be on a five-day visit to Punjab.
