After onions,now tomato touches 100

Onion prices which had dropped to Rs 50 a kg have again soared to Rs 70-80 a kg in retail market.

The kitchen budget of the common man continues to be disturbed as after onions,tomatoes have become dearer. Prices of tomatoes in retail market on Wednesday touched Rs 100 a kg and vegetable vendors have indicated that the prices are expected to come down by next week.

Onion prices which had dropped to Rs 50 a kg have again soared to Rs 70-80 a kg in retail market.
