The family of a 14-year-old victim of sexual exploitation, on Tuesday, alleged that they were being threatened by the main accused Radha, who was the child’s tutor, and that the police was hands-in-glove with the accused.
Meanwhile, the police remand of the lady tutor and her two brothers accused of sexually exploiting the 14-year-old was extended for two more days on Tuesday. Reportedly, accused Radha had also written letters to the family and threatened to frame the victim’s father in a false rape case.
Later, volunteers of Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) reached the spot to help the family. “We are trying to shift them to a safe place,” said BBA volunteer Dinesh.
SHO at division number five police station, Inspector Beant Juneja, said the police was probing all angles. He said the laptop and pen drive of the accused was with the police and no video of the child was uploaded on the internet.
Juneja added that the police scanned YouTube and other websites but found no videos related to the case.
