The Daba police on Thursday claimed to have arrested three members of a three-wheeler gang who used to loot the passengers in three-wheelers.
The accused were identified as Satyajeet Singh, Sukhwinder and Gurpreet.
Addressing a press conference, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police J S Sidhu said a few days ago, a case had been lodged in which the complainant stated that members of a three-wheeler gang had looted Rs 70,000 from him.

The police recovered Rs 65,000 from the accused. This money they had looted from a passenger near Partap chowk a few days ago.
Following a tip-off, the police arrested the gang from Jain chowk in Daba area.
Daba SHO Jatinderjeet said Gurpreet was booked in two cases and Satyajeet faced six criminal cases of loot.
A case under relevant sections of the IPC was registered at Daba police station.
