In the wake of Ramdhan,the Samajwadi Party has rescheduled its three-day national convention which will now be held on August 19.
“The national convention,which was slated to be held between August 25 to August 27 will be held from August 19 to August 21,” said party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary on Monday. He said that the decision to reschedule the meet was taken by the party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
“Some important decisions will be taken during the national meet. The party will chalk out its strategy keeping in view the current political scenario of the state especially after the Lok Sabha elections, he said.
