Man dies after electric pole falls on him

Sunil Katariya,an employee at a shop in Janpath market,was walking towards the shop when the pole,weighting around two quintal,fell on him. The youth,who suffered head injuries,was rushed to the Civil Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

A case of causing death by negligence was lodged against unidentified driver of the JCB machine who escaped after the incident. The district administration said since work was being done by LDA,it is for them to arrange compensation. The JCB belonged to Chinmay Construction Company which was hired for the work,said LDA executive engineer OP Mishra.
