Lucknow could soon be playing host to Indian Cricket League (ICL) matches. On Sunday,Kapil who was in the City of Nawabs as chief guest in the final of the cricket tournament for the differently abled,gave enough indications that the ICL matches would be organised here. Lucknow has the facilities and I will make efforts for the organisation of ICL matches here,” the cricketing great said in reply to a question. It may be mentioned that the stadia at Lucknow are not under the control of the BCCI.
Kapil refused to comment on his tussle with the BCCI regarding the pension issue as he said that the matter was before the court now.
He had a word of praise for present medium pacers. Without naming any body,he said that India has good medium pacers and if they continue to perform well,then their future is very bright. He expressed happiness over Team India’s performances in the recent past.
