The BJP on Sunday prepared a detailed plan for the ‘Kamal Sandesh Bike Rally’ — scheduled to take place on November 17 — at a meeting in the party’s state headquarters in Lucknow.
The rally is one of the many campaigns undertaken by the party across the state in preparation for next year’s Lok Sabha elections.
At the meeting, chaired by Sunil Bansal, general secretary (organisation), it was decided that at least five motorcycles and 10 people from every booth across the state would participate in the rally, said sources.
Addressing office-bearers, Bansal said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Mahendra Nath Pandey, deputy chief ministers, ministers as well as members of Parliament and Legislative Assembly will also participate.
BJP workers have been instructed to carry flags, wear caps and scarves of the party’s colours and raise slogans during these rallies to make their presence felt.
Bansal also instructed the office-bearers to ensure that the start and end points of these rallies are decided beforehand.
