Kushwaha moved to Lucknow hospital

Former BSP minister Babu Singh Kushwaha has been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow.

Former BSP minister Babu Singh Kushwaha,who was lodged at Ghaziabad’s Dasna Jail in connection with the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam,has been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow after he complained of chest pain.

Kushwaha was brought to Lucknow on the recommendation of doctors in Meerut where he was taken from jail after he had complained of pain. Director of SGPGIMS Dr R K Sharma said Kushwaha is admitted in the cardiology department.

Recently,Kushwaha was in news when his wife,Shivkanya Kushwaha,and brother Shivsharan Kushwaha joined the Samajwadi Party on July 14. The CBI,which was investigating the NRHM scam,arrested Kushwaha on March 3,2012. Superintendent of Dasna Prison Dr Viresh Raj said on July 20 evening,Kushwaha complained of pain in the chest and also said he was feeling uneasy.
