After six years of separation,Italian couple Mario Fable and Ana Angelina decided to get remarried. Only this time, they wanted to tie the knot according to Hindu rituals — a tribute to yoga which had brought them together again. The wedding took place on Saturday,at the Nayak temple of Ayodhya.

Fable (58),is the in-charge of the Yoga Foundation of India in Italy. He had joined the Foundation two years ago, giving up his government service.

The couple had been married for 12 years. “We were facing problems for long,” said Fable. “After getting separated,we both fell prey to deep depression, but we came in contact with the Yoga Foundation and survived,” he added.

“The foundation brought us together and this time we decided to get married in the religious and spiritual city of Ayodhya,” said Angelina (50). For both, this is the first visit to India and they intend to return to Italy and carry on their work there together.
